Welcome our new starter: Andrei

Following the sudden and certainly unexpected end of my experience as a student in the UK, given the circumstances, I decided to take a new, modern path towards the development of my career. In other words, I suddenly decided to move from studying law traditionally to an apprenticeship in business administration within recruitment for Yourcode. The way this company attracted me was clearly simple – it appeared to offer me an opportunity of growth within an ambitious and fast-paced environment that would allow me to develop real work experience and continue my studies at the same time. I was slightly familiar with the environment as a year before I managed to complete an internship in recruitment and business administration for a company in my home country – Romania  – during the summer holiday at the end of my year12. Due to my acid involvement in the extracurricular spectrum of school life, as well as the skills developed via different internships and jobs made me, in my opinion, a suitable member of the Yourcode company, an ambitious environment driven by a desire to achieve excellence.

After only two months in, one of which involved doing market research in different cities from my own home country, I managed to transition to candidate and client calls, working towards building relationships with both of these categories of people, therefore moving towards gaining more independence. At the moment, I am trying hard to build solid client relationships via daily phone calls which constantly improves my work ethic, communication and interpersonal skills. I have to mention that the warmth and friendship within the team is highly appreciated as all members of the team i am currently working with have treated me very well since my arrival to the UK, which I believe one could hardly find in any other job. This is one of the many reasons why I appreciate the environment within this company, which makes everyday fly by.

I would describe the YourCode environment as a dynamic, ambitious and hard-working one, encouraging every member of the team to give their best, but balancing the hard work with enjoyment and fun when appropriate. I would like to give my thanks to the company for bringing me in and, even if I am just at the beginning of my career, I believe there will be a long journey for us to complete together.
